Albion’s Premier League Season Comparison – 20 games

After an awful first 30 minutes, Albion recovered in the second half to take the three points against Hull City and now sit in 8th place with 29 points from 20 games.

In 2012, the Baggies had four more points than this season, but they have scored as many goals as they had done this season (28) and have conceded one fewer than under Steve Clarke. The most marked contrast is with last season under Pulis, however, when Albion had only managed 20 goals from 20 games but had just three points fewer than this season.

Albion now have almost two weeks to wait for their next Premier League fixture when they visit Spurs for game 21. January has not been a great month in Albion’s Premier League history and game 21 has produced just one victory, against Hull City two years ago.
