Albion completed their first league double of the season at the Bet365 Stadium and made it six wins from their last seven Championship games away from the Hawthorns.
It moves the Baggies on to 53 points which is just one behind the successful promotion sides of 2004 and 2008 and two more than Megson’s 2002 team.

Roberto di Matteo’s 2010 side moved to the top of the table on goal difference from Newcastle United following the win over Scunthorpe United, but were about to endure a mini-slump as they won just one of their next six games, although that did include two matches against Reading in the fifth round FA Cup.
