Albion’s troubles in the league continued at the City of Cardiff Stadium as they went down to another defeat which was, once again, largely down to poor defending.
The Baggies first successive league defeats of the season extends their winless run to seven games and leaves them just two points clear of Nottingham Forest in 3rd place.
The poor run means that both Megson’s 2004 team and Di Matteo’s 2010 side had more points at this stage of the season.
