Halfway through the Premier League season and Darren Moore’s team have reached a half century of goals and are now just three points behind their best ever record at this stage of a promotion campaign.
Albion scored in the first ten minutes of a match for the first time this season and somehow managed to keep their first clean sheet on the road.
It is also the second time that Albion have scored four away from the Hawthorns this season having last done so at current league leaders, Norwich, back in August, and it is their biggest win on the road since they hammered Wolves 5-1 at Molineux in 2012.
The last time that game 24 was on Boxing Day, Albion were at home to Bristol City and defeated them 4-1 in 2007. The Baggies have only won one home Boxing Day encounter since then, beating Peterborough United 2-0 in 2009.
