The Baggies’ 57-year wait for a league win at Fulham continues as they slumped to a 2-0 win and into the relegation zone.
The start to this campaign remains Albion’s worst in the Premier League with the only silver lining that two of the next three worst starts, in 2004/05 and 2011/12, both ended with the Baggies escaping relegation.
I fear that if survival is to be achieved, it looks more like being a Great Escape as it was in 2005 than the serene progression up the table we enjoyed in 2012.
