Albion and Burnley made history, for this season at least, as they became the first sides to share a goalless draw in this Premier League campaign.
A point lifts the Baggies out of the bottom three, having slipped into the relegation zone after the weekend’s results, but it is still Albion’s worst start to a Premier League season with just two points from the opening five games.
On the positive side, only twice have Albion scored more than five goals in the opening five games, but it would look much better had Grant not been marginally offside when he headed home against Burnley.
Albion have only once lost game 6 of a Premier League campaign, which was their last campaign when they suffered a 2-0 defeat at Arsenal.
