Albion’s Premier League Season Comparison – 20 games

Back at the Hawthorns on a Tuesday night and “normal” service is resumed for the Baggies. As the BT Sport commentator said, it was the first time since 1978 that a top flight team had conceded three or more goals in five successive home games and it means that Albion have let in 29 goals in their 10 Premier League games at the Hawthorns.

Furthermore, that makes it no wins in 32 Tuesday night Premier League games, and there is a big one coming next week when the Baggies travel to Bramall Lane to take on the only club below them in the table.

Before that, Fulham visit the Hawthorns for game 21 and Albion don’t have a good record in that particular round. Only once before have the Baggies won their 21st game of a Premier League campaign, a 1-0 win against Hull City in what was Tony Pulis’s first game in charge in 2015.
